Getting started
What is Rovezi?
Rovezi is a private workspace for your money. It brings bank, cash and card accounts, spending, bills and the money owed between you and other people or projects into one place, with exact figures and a full history.
Who is it for?
People and households in India who share money: friends who split trips, families with add-on cards, flatmates, and small projects that buy from several accounts. You must be 18 or older to use Rovezi.
How do I start?
Create an account, add one bank or card account with its balance on a chosen date, and record a few recent purchases. Add a person the first time you pay for someone, and the amount they owe appears straight away.
Money and cards
Does Rovezi connect to my bank?
No. Rovezi never asks for bank passwords and does not read your bank or card accounts. You enter transactions yourself or import a statement file, and you review every imported line before it is saved.
Can Rovezi pay people or move money?
No. Rovezi records money; it does not hold or move it. When you pay someone through your bank or UPI app, you record it in Rovezi so everyone's balance stays right.
How are credit cards handled?
Each card tracks what you owe and how much limit is left. Add-on or linked cards can share one limit. Paying the card bill moves money from your bank to the card; it is never counted as new spending.
Can I fix a mistake?
Yes. Editing or voiding a transaction keeps the original and adds a correction with your reason, so balances update and the history still shows exactly what changed.
People and sharing
How does splitting with friends work?
When you pay for something that is partly or wholly for someone else, tell Rovezi whose share it is. It records what they owe without counting it as your own spending. When they pay you back, record a settlement and the claim closes.
Can the other person see what they owe?
Yes, if you choose. From a person's page you can create a read-only share link that shows them only their own statement with you. They do not need an account.
Is a share link safe?
Anyone with the link can open it, so send it privately to that person. Each link expires after 7, 30, 90 or 180 days, you can hide item names, and you can revoke it at any time. It never shows your other accounts, notes or other people.
Imports and documents
Can I import my bank statement?
Yes. Upload a CSV from your bank and map its columns, or prepare the lines in the documented format. Every line is staged for review; you approve, match or skip each one before anything is saved, and duplicates are flagged.
Can I keep receipts and warranty cards?
Yes. Attach PDFs or images (up to 10 MB each) to transactions and items. Files are stored privately and opened only through short-lived links.
Privacy and security
Who can see my data?
Only you and anyone you allow into your workspace. Every request is checked against your workspace on the server. We do not sell data, show ads or use trackers, and we do not train AI models on your records.
Where is my data stored?
In a managed PostgreSQL database in Singapore (Neon) and private document storage on Cloudflare in the Asia-Pacific region, encrypted in transit and at rest. The privacy policy lists every provider.
Can I sign in without a password?
Yes. You can add a passkey (fingerprint, face or device PIN) in Settings, and Google sign-in is available too.
Offline and the app
Is there a mobile app?
Rovezi works in any modern browser and can be installed to your phone's home screen or your computer from the browser menu ("Install app" or "Add to Home Screen"). There is no separate app-store download.
Does it work offline?
The installed app can show the screens you recently viewed when you have no connection, for up to 7 days. Adding or changing records needs a connection, so nothing is lost or duplicated. You can turn offline copies off, and they are wiped when you sign out.
Pricing and your account
How much does Rovezi cost?
Rovezi is free during early access. If access becomes paid later, we will give at least 30 days’ notice to choose a paid plan or export your data. Access may be locked after that notice period if you do not move to a paid plan. We will not charge you without your acceptance.
How do I export my data?
Open Settings, then Export data, and download a complete JSON file of your workspace: accounts, transactions, people, claims, attachment details and more. You can do this as often as you like.
How do I delete my account?
Email privacy@mail.rovezi.tech from your account's email address. We delete your account, records and documents within 30 days, and backups age out within a further 90 days. Export your data first if you want a copy.
