In short
- Rovezi helps you record money. It does not hold, move or lend money, and it does not give financial advice.
- Your records stay yours. You can export them at any time and ask us to delete them.
- Use it lawfully, keep your sign-in safe and only record what you have a right to record about other people.
- It is free during early access. We will tell you in advance before anything you use becomes paid.
- Indian law applies and the courts at Jaipur decide disputes. Write to us first; we answer.
1. Who we are and these terms
Rovezi is operated from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India ("Rovezi", "we", "us"). These terms are a contract between you and us. They apply to the Rovezi web app, its installable (offline) version, this website, share links and any assistant connection you set up (together, the "service").
By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and confirm that you have read theprivacy policy, which explains how we handle personal data, and thecookie and storage policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not need a physical or digital signature.
2. What the service is
Rovezi is a private record-keeping workspace for personal, household and small-project money. You can record bank, cash and card accounts, card limits, purchases and income, items and warranties, vehicles, bills and recurring payments, projects, and amounts owed between you and other people or companies. You can attach documents such as receipts, import statement lines for review, issue informal statements and record settlements.
Everything in your workspace is calculated from what you enter or import. Rovezi does not connect to your bank, does not read your bank or card accounts and does not see money move. Statements you issue in Rovezi are informal summaries between you and the other person; they are not tax invoices, bills of supply or legal demands.
3. Not a bank, not advice
- No money handling. Rovezi does not hold funds, accept deposits, make or receive payments, issue cards or wallets, lend, collect debts or report to credit bureaus. It is not a bank, NBFC, payment system, payment aggregator or any other entity regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, SEBI or IRDAI.
- No payment processing. Recording a payment or a settlement in Rovezi does not pay anyone. Any real payment happens outside the service, between you and the other person, through your own bank or app.
- No advice. Nothing in the service, this website or our blog is financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice. Talk to a qualified professional before you rely on figures for a tax return, a loan, a legal claim or any other important decision. See the disclaimer.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 (of sound mind and not disqualified by law). The service is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account. If you use Rovezi for a household, a group of friends or a small business or project, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it, and "you" includes it.
5. Your account and security
- Give accurate sign-up details and keep your email address current, because we use it for sign-in and important notices.
- Keep your password, passkeys, sign-in codes and devices safe. Do not share your account. Use a strong, unique password or a passkey, and lock any device that has the installed app.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it may be compromised. Write tosupport@mail.rovezi.tech at once if you suspect unauthorised access; you can also sign out other sessions from Settings.
- Anyone you allow into a workspace acts under that workspace's owner, who decides what they can see and change.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for anything unlawful, including fraud, money laundering, unlawful lending or harassing someone for money;
- store full card numbers, CVV codes, PINs, OTPs, net-banking passwords, Aadhaar numbers or other identifiers you do not need (the service does not need any of them);
- upload malware, or content that is obscene, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise prohibited under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021;
- try to access another person's workspace or data, probe or bypass security, overload the service, or scrape it;
- copy, resell or build a competing service from it, or reverse engineer it except as the law allows;
- use a share link or connected assistant to get data you are not entitled to.
If you find a security weakness, please report it as described on the security page instead of exploiting it.
7. Your content and our licence
The records, notes, names and documents you put into Rovezi ("your content") remain yours. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, copy, process, back up, display and transmit your content only as needed to run, secure and support the service for you, and as the privacy policy describes. This permission ends when your content is deleted, apart from backup copies that expire on their normal schedule.
We do not sell your content, use it for advertising or use it to train artificial intelligence models. You are responsible for your content and for having the right to store it.
8. Information about other people
Rovezi lets you record other people, for example a friend who owes you money or a relative who shares a bill. When you do, you decide what to record and you are responsible for it. Record only what you need (a name and what was paid or owed is enough), keep it accurate and do not use it to embarrass, threaten or harass anyone. If a person asks us about data you hold about them, we may contact you to help resolve it, as explained in the privacy policy.
9. Share links
You can create a read-only link that shows one person their own statement: the shared costs, amounts, dates and payments between you and them, with item names hidden if you choose. Anyone who has the link can open it, without signing in, until it expires (you choose 7, 30, 90 or 180 days) or you revoke it.
- Create a link only for the person it describes and send it to them privately. Treat it like a password.
- You are responsible for who you send it to. If it reaches the wrong person, revoke it straight away from that person's page.
- The link shows your entries as they are. Check them before you share, and do not use a link to put pressure on anyone.
10. Connected assistants
If you connect an AI assistant or other app to your account, you choose that app and its provider, and your use of it is governed by their terms and privacy policy, not ours. A connected assistant can only suggest entries; they wait as pending items until you review them in Rovezi. You can disconnect it at any time. We are not responsible for what a third-party app does with information you give it.
11. Price: free during early access
Rovezi is free during early access, and no payment details are collected. We may later introduce paid plans or limits. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice before paid access begins. During that notice period, you may choose a paid plan or export your workspace data instead. We will show the price, applicable taxes (including GST), billing period and renewal terms and ask you to accept them before charging anything. If you do not move to a paid plan by the end of the notice period, access to your workspace may be locked. Export your data before the notice period ends if you do not wish to continue on a paid plan.
12. Early access and availability
The service is in early access. We work carefully to keep it available, correct and secure, but features may change, and it may sometimes be slow or unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control, such as failures at our hosting providers or your network. We may add, change or remove features. If we decide to shut the service down, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data.
13. Our software and brand
The Rovezi software, design, text, logo and name belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms. Nothing here transfers ownership. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve Rovezi without any obligation to you.
14. Closing an account and exporting data
You can stop using Rovezi at any time. You can download a complete copy of your workspace data as a JSON file from Settings → Export data in the app. To close your account and delete your data, write to privacy@mail.rovezi.tech from your account's email address; we delete it as described in theprivacy policy.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, puts other people or the service at risk, or where the law requires. Unless the law or an urgent risk prevents it, we will tell you first, explain why, and give you a reasonable chance to export your data. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 7, 15 to 19) survive closure.
15. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". Balances, totals, reports and statements are calculated from the information you enter or import, and their accuracy depends on it. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet every need you have. Keep your own copies of important documents.
16. Limitation of liability
Rovezi is run by an individual and offered free during early access, so liability is limited as follows, to the extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data, or for loss caused by decisions you make based on information in the service.
- We are not liable for loss caused by inaccurate entries or imports, by your failure to keep your sign-in secure, by a share link you sent, by a third-party app you connected, or by events outside our reasonable control.
- Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period and ₹1,000.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct, or any liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded or limited under Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
17. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses, costs and legal fees arising from a third-party claim caused by your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the service, or content you stored or shared (including information about other people or a share link you sent), except to the extent the claim was caused by us.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first; most concerns can be settled quickly by email. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to approach a consumer commission or other forum under Indian consumer protection law.
19. General
These terms, together with the privacy policy and cookie and storage policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a successor who takes over the service and agrees to honour them and the privacy policy, and we will tell you if that happens.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service or the law changes. The version number and date at the top will change. For changes that materially affect you, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 15 days before they take effect (unless the change is required sooner by law or to fix a security issue). If you keep using Rovezi after that, the updated terms apply; if you do not agree, you can export your data and close your account.
